With the roll of just one handful of standard dice (d4, d6, d8, d10, d12, d20), you get an ancestry, 5 lifepath-style elements of backstory, a name, thematic starting items, and stats that make sense based on the background.

Enjoy Level-0 Characters! generates stats that hit the same overall odds as rolling 3d6 dice in-order (re-rolling if there's no stat that's at least a 14), as is used in Shadowdark and many other OSR games.
